Prepare for Grade 9 with a Learning Strategies summer course

We are inviting Trillium Lakelands District School Board (TLDSB) Grade 8 students to prepare for Grade 9 and earn their first high school credit through the Learning Strategies summer course!

Taking place virtually from July 4 to 27, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., students will learn how to develop and apply numeracy, personal management, and teamwork skills to improve their learning and achievement. The course will help students build confidence and motivation to pursue opportunities for success in their upcoming Grade 9 school year.

Summer break information

All school buildings will be closed to the public for the summer break beginning Monday, July 7, reopening on Tuesday, August 26.

Beginning the week of July 14, the TLDSB Lindsay and Muskoka Education Centres are open to the public Monday to Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The first day of school for both elementary and secondary students is Wednesday, September 3. Note, Kindergarten students will have a staggered start.
